Title Design
Project Overview:
• Designed the title for Abe’s Story, a short film currently featured on Disney+.
How It Started:
• My longtime friend Adam Stewart (based in Ireland) asked me to design the title for his first short film.
• His vision? Something grand but not too grand, dark but not too sinister, and special without being overly fancy.
Creative Process:
• Started with sketches and black-and-white concepts in Illustrator.
• Collaborated through FaceTime calls and feedback rounds to refine the design.
• Worked on “show and tell” iterations until we found the perfect balance of tone and style.
Final Touches:
• Brought the title into Maya to add subtle 3D treatments.
• Experimented with color options until we landed on a version that captured the story’s spirit.
